The year is 2024 and the streets are swarming with the living dead. You are left with no choice but to fight for survival. As you try to make it through this living nightmare, you will need to outsmart not only the hordes of zombies, but also other players who will try to outmuscle and pillage your group.
BUILD AND UPGRADE YOUR BASE
One of the nice things about the game is definitely how you build, upgrade and manage your base. The more efficient it becomes, the more resources you will be able to produce. These resources are very important as they are what allows you to go on missions. They also are key in upgrading your weapons, so you’ll be looking to boost production. Be sure to invest in a good defense as other players will quickly be trying to destroy your base in order to reap its spoil.
COLLECT HEROES AND GATHER SURVIVORS
The game has 12 heroes to collect and about 30 survivors to save and recruit. Heroes are the characters that you can play, whereas survivors are the key individuals that provide key bonuses to your base camp. Each has its own abilities and sets of skills. You will quickly find out that having a pool from which to choose from will go a long way into giving you the right options to counter specific situations.
DON’T BE TRIGGER-HAPPY
You won’t make it through the day if you’re a trigger-happy kind of player. Again in this case, brain wins over brawn. Go for single headshots instead of always keeping your finger on the trigger. You wouldn’t want to be in the middle of a reload as the next waves of brain eaters show up!
MIND YOUR SURROUNDINGS
Left to Survive is definitely a game where the brain wins over brawn. Be smart and think quickly before acting. There might be something in your immediate surroundings that will provide a solution to a very difficult situation. Like that explosive barrel that is against the wall and that is sure to blow off the dozen of zombies that just showed up.
KNOW YOUR ENEMIES
Well, this saying is not just a great Rage against the Machine song, it also makes a lot of sense in a zombie apocalypse. Not all zombies are equal (sorry you equal rights activists). Some are faster than others, some have more endurance, and you will need to quickly take out the ones that pose the biggest threat before your brain becomes food for the dead. Friendly warning: beware the deadly exploders or the vile spitters!
